The Society of Ruislip Artists usually meet every month and we always enjoy welcoming guests and new members.  At the moment, we hold our meetings at The Woodman (hall), Joel Street where we have demonstrations by professional artists.  In the winter months we try to hold painting afternoons indoors whereas in the summer, we like to meet outdoors to paint and are very happy when people join us. We currently have an ongoing exhibition at the newly decorated Vito’s Cafe, Ruislip, with our display refreshed with new artwork by our members from 23rd July, find out more about our exhibition at Vito’s Cafe Ruislip.

Latest Update

We have now closed our Virtual Exhibition but you may still be able to view it on Artsteps.  We prefer to welcome people to our exhibitions in person.  We like to hold outdoor painting afternoons during the summer and will get together to paint indoors over the winter.  Our next outdoor painting afternoon will be on Wednesday, 21st August from 2.00-4.00 pm, venue to be confirmed – all welcome.  Our next monthly meeting will be on Tuesday, 24th September when we will be having a Watercolour Demonstration on Landscapes by one of our past members Martin Gibbons.   The meeting commences at 7.30 pm in The Woodman (hall), Joel Street, Eastcote.  We always like to welcome guests and new members to our Society so please come along to one of our demonstrations.  We would love to see you.  At the moment, we have a display of paintings of all different styles and media by our members in Vito’s Cafe, 151 High Street, Ruislip.  We are delighted to say our exhibition is ongoing and we have a display of paintings for you to enjoy in Vito’s newly decorated premises.  Our new display will go up on 23rd July so you will have more new paintings to view from our members.  Why not come along and enjoy some delicious food while having a look at our paintings.   Our next Free Workshop will be on Saturday, 27th July from 2.00-4.00 pm in Ruislip Manor Library, Linden Avenue.  We hope both children and adults will come along and join us for a fun and creative afternoon.   We would be pleased to have people follow us on the Society of Ruislip Artists Facebook page.  This will be updated regularly to keep you all up to date on our events.
