Eleanor was always very keen on painting and drawing at school and had seriously thought of taking up a career in the art world.  However, it was suggested by both her parents and schoolteachers that perhaps secretarial work would be more lucrative – and she said they were probably right!

When Eleanor retired, it seemed an ideal opportunity to take up painting again.

Eleanor attends weekly classes and really enjoys the demonstrations and camaraderie provided by The Society of Ruislip Artists.
