As well as belonging to our Society and Hillingdon Artists, Iain has a stall on the Portobello Road selling hand painted and printed T-shirts. He does T-shirt painting demonstrations and workshops – he has done this at Harrow Art Centre and plans to do more this year.

Iain has done workshops with children from Deanesfield School, Ruislip at the pop up gallery run by Hillingdon Artists in Uxbridge and at The Combined Arts Exhibition. He has also done live painting at Eastcote House Gardens and at the Pinner Rotary fair. He ran a very successful Christmas Workshop last year and we will be putting on other workshops at Ruislip Manor Library monthly with Iain’s help.

Iain held a solo exhibition at the Wilde Thyme Café in London in 2022 and is planning more.

As well as the above, Iain has had live events at Morello Lounge in Uxbridge where, as well as his artwork, the evenings consist of poetry, live music and art.

As the Joint Publicity Officer of our Society, Iain arranged what was originally intended as a month long tenure for our artists in a local café, together with our Chair, Treasurer and Programme Secretary. This tenure has now been extended because of the popularity of the event and is an ongoing exhibition which is refreshed every two months.

Iain has done several painting commissions this year with more in the pipeline.
